Biography of Lee W. Grove, II

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” (Psalm 121:1) It’s all about God’s sustaining power!

When the question is asked, Whom would you consider in the bible that reflects you or your life? Who would you say? Well ... when the question is asked to Lee, he says "Without a doubt, I see myself in David. David of course was a man after God’s own heart, I truly love the Lord and too, I’m after the heart of God."

But also like David, before Lee gave his life to Christ totally, he was always on the run in and out of trouble ... Trouble could have been his middle name. That had strong similarity with David’s life.

Lee was a troubled young man — the drugs took a toll onhs life: he got involved with gang activity, which brought him front and center of a shoot out. When the dust cleared, the enemy thought for sure he (satan) had won. Lee was left to die with 4 bullets shot into his body.

The doctors said he would never walk again, he would be wheel-chair bound the rest of his life. Right now today one of those bullets are still lodged into has back. When he checked out of the hospital, he got up out of the wheel chair and hasn’t been in one since. (The devil is a lair!)

After many years of gang violence and trouble, Lee decided he better change his life or else he might wake up dead in hell without the possibility of ever seeing who God is. The decision was made and off to fight for our country was made Lee joined the United States Navy, “the Navy was a great experience for me in many ways but it also was a bad situation as well.” Says Lee. After his brush with death from the shooting and serving sometime in prison, it was now time to change all of his ways.

After returning from the Viet Nam War, the soldiers were greeted as unwelcome men in our society, rejected after they had served their country all the men who had served in the Viet Nam War, were treated unkind. It was bad enough that he was returning home with a drug habit. And so it was the beginning of a roller coaster ride with life for the worst that started all over again.

Losing all hope, self esteem and dealing with (PTSD) “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” from Viet Nam, it took awhile to re-adjust back to society. Meanwhile, his situation took him to yet another lower level of even more disappointment with the life he was living – with almost no self esteem, and a must have addiction and reliability on drugs. He looked up one day and realized he was actually in a homeless situation.

Lee always knew about the mighty God we serve, after all he was raised in a loving upper class Christian family with hard working parents that were very active in their community and church. He regrets the fact that his parents didn’t live to see him walking and living his life for the Lord.

Lee started to turn his life around, he began to attend church on a regular basis, he now had a thirst to know more about the God we serve. God begin to move in a mighty way in his life. First there was the “Call” on his life to become a Deacon. Lee took the Call of becoming a deacon very serious and felt very humble that he was considered to serve in such a capacity in the church he grew up in most of his life. The church members saw the good and bad of his life.

Lee will never forgot those terrible times in his life. Lee had a burning desire to one day reach out to the same people that are homeless, with drug addictions, and felt like the world has forgotten about them. This is one of main reasons why his ministry today (Living with God Ministries) work with the homeless & needy. It’s a constant reminder of how far the Lord has brought him from. He wanted them to know that God loves each one of them and they can go to him anytime because HE is a bridge over trouble waters! Once he became sold out for Christ everything in his life began to move very fast and on the path to righteousness!

He was blessed with his true soul mate, friend, companion and partner for life, his wife PM Wynn. Lee is the Co-Host of their popular TV program “Heavenly Sent.” Serving as a Deacon in the church, was just the beginning of his walk with God. More was in store for this Man of God. When man give a promotion it can be taken away at anytime, when God gives us a promotion can’t nobody do anything about it. God has taken him to a higher calling and commitment into Pastorial Leadership. As we walk by faith and not by sight, I’ll go wherever the Lord wants me to go. “God also wants us to invest in our own ministry, we must sow seeds into our own ministry first, we invest in the clothes we wear why not our ministry? If we plant the first seed God will surely do the rest.”

The Lord spoke to Lee and placed into his spirit a ministry reaching out to those in need on the streets today, and so it was birthed into a new ministry called “Living with God Ministries” his program consists of; Street Preaching and Bible Teaching! The program has real testimonies from real people and a Bible teaching lesson on each program.

Today, Minister Lee W. Grove II, is a very busy man between hosting his show “Living with God Ministries” and Pastor of Heavenly Sent International Christian Center. Our church ministry is small however, it’s not about the multitude it’s about the attitude of the Believers that come! Where two or three are gather together in my name…God is present! Scripture says it best; “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth more than over ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance.” (Luke 15:7)

Lee is soft spoken but takes his walk with the Lord very serious. He is a firm believer that whatever we say to people about our God we serve, our words should always be bible base information. “If we can’t back it up with scripture then we shouldn’t say it.” Well…. by now you should know that Lee Grove II excepted his calling into the ministry! He is the Pastor of Heavenly Sent International Christian Center, in Castle Rock, CO. Host of “Living with God Ministries” which airs on LeSea Broadcast every Sunday @ 1pm in Denver and 12 midnight on Tuesday & Thursday in Colorado Springs.

Lee & his wife are faithful sponsors to the Denver Recue Mission, Feed the Children and the Joseph Assignment, a global initiative ministry that provides fresh well drinking water in Africa.

He is a proud husband, to PM Wynn, father of three adult sons; Lee Grove II, Keith Everette and Genesis Monroe. A proud retired Navy Viet Nam Veteran, He has an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor Degree in Pastoral Ministry &Theology both from Canon Bible College. Lee also completed training in Stewardship & Leadership from the Denver Seminary.
